Gourd vegetables Puree(6 months)


This greeny vegetable is loaded rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin B, sodium, iron and potassium.Prevents your baby from urinary infections and problems.Rich water content keeps your baby active and hydrated all the time.helps in digestion since its rich in fiber.Helps to relive your baby from sleeping disorders.Prevents gray color hair in kids.Helps to maintain healthy heart and healthy liver


Ingredients

Bottle gourd (Calabash) or Green gourd(Ridge Gourd)
Moong dhal
salt 1/2 pinch
Turmeric powder 1/2 pinch

Preparation

1.Peel off Bottle gourd (Calabash) skin using a peeler

2.Dice into small pieces.

3.In a pan cover Calabash pieces , 2 teaspoons of moongdhal,Turmeric powder and salt with water and boil for 15-25 minutes

4.Once Calabash and dhal is turned out soft and mushy.

5.Cool down to room temperature

6.Using a blender make it puree

7.Mix it with breast milk or Formula milk

8.Serve it to your baby using baby bowl and spoon

While introducing a new vegetable for the first time, always wait three days before switching to the next vegetable.If it suits well for your baby then move to next vegetable
