Carrot Puree(6 months)


The sweet crispy fresh carrots greatly found in orange and purple, black, red, white, and yellow varieties exist.Its really good to start with root vegetables for your baby.Orange carrots are rich in beta carotene and vitamin A.which helps in bone development and baby eye sight development.Babies generally love carrots as it contains natural sweet and fabulous color and smooth once cooked.

Preparation

1.Peel off the outer skin of carrot using a peeler

2.Cut into few pieces

3.In a pan cover carrot pieces with water and boil for 10-15 minutes

4.Once carrot is turned out soft flesh.

5.Cool down to room temperature

6.Using a blender make it puree

7.Mix it with breast milk or Formula milk

8.Serve it to your baby using baby bowl and spoon


Note

While introducing a new vegetable for the first time, always wait three days before switching to the next vegetable.If it suits well for your baby then move to next vegetable
